They are too beyond our imagination. One such CAVE gifted by the nature exists at the foothills of Western Ghats. The cave has Lord Rudra as deity in it.

Kudumari Falls or Belligundi Falls

 

At a distance of 43 Kms from Murudeshwar, 93 Kms from Udupi & 17 Kms from Shiroor (on Udupi - Karwar road), Kudumari Waterfalls (also known as Chaktikal Falls) is a magnificent waterfall located in deep forest near Chaktikal village.

   

Kudumari Waterfalls is a magnificent waterfall dropping from a height of 300 feet through a single step. One has to trek for about 3 Kms from Chaktikal through dense forest. The trek route is considered to be very dangerous and not usually recommended for regular visitors (about 2 Hrs trek two-way). Nov - Dec is the best time to trek this place.

Mage Bail Water Falls ( Kigga )

Kigga : Kigga, a small village which houses to beautiful waterfalls - Mage bail and Sere mane. Kigga is about 16 kms from Sringeri. The local buses coming from Nassimha Parvata take you to the falls.
