It is believed that
Shivaji was born by cow’s ear, due to which is place of known as
Gokarna. and other than that there is an interesting fact about it ,
that this village situated at the confluence of three rivers and
seems like an ear. There are many other beautiful temples ,which are
the center of faith and assumptions.The confluence of two important
rivers Gangavani and Adhyanashini can be seen.
Om Beach
Om beach is the most famous amongst
several other beaches present in the town of Gokarna. Miles of white
sand greet the avid beach-goer and you’ll surely be tempted to
extend your holiday.
Kudle Beach
Kudle Beach is located at a distance of
2 km from Gokarna town that travellers may visit if time permits. In
order to reach this beach, tourists can take conduit from the
southern side of Ganapati Temple.
